We hope your new year has been off to a great start! We have been busy bees with a buzz of activity, as we complete our move to our new home city of Cleveland, Ohio - the original home of our beloved station back in its (first) heyday.
NEW STREAMING LINKS & NEW LICENSING PARTNERSHIP
WIXY1260Online is proud to announce its new partnership with RadioCoalition.org - we are now part of a coalition of web broadcasters dedicated to forging a sensible and affordable path forward in royalty licensing fees, that recognizes fairness for non-corporate web-casters like us.
Effective January 1, 2018 our licensing is now covered in our agreement with RadioCoalition.org, whose foundation services are provided by Live365.com.
How does this affect the listener? We are transitioning all of our listening links on our website and partner websites, as well as our mobile App, to point to our new listening streams. As a result, you may need to refresh your Internet browsers and update any bookmarks to be linked to the updated streams. The current links will be expiring soon, so you may no longer hear us if you don't follow the updated links on our Listen Page at www.wixy1260online.com/listen.html.

THE LAST BROADCAST
Thanks to all who tuned in for our Last Broadcast from our Lakewood, Ohio, studios on Friday, February 2nd. It was a great day of live shows capped off with an outstanding show by Tony Z. While we're no longer broadcasting from Lakewood, we still maintain a presence there and will continue our partnership with Cap & Corks as an official prize and merchandise pickup location.
THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME
Things have been quite busy for us and a lot of energy is being expended as we build on our success and hope to finish the setup of our new studios soon. We're very excited with our new pad and can't wait to share photos with you. If you're a regular listener, you know we've been broadcasting from our new Cleveland studios since Saturday, February 3rd. We've set up a temporary workstation for our DJs, but we'll be settled into our spot soon - once the WIXY Purple paint dries. Stay tuned!

A heartfelt thanks to all of our wonderful staff - this 6+ year journey has been amazing and the move to our new, improved studios would not be possible without their incredible talent and dedication. Likewise, without awesome fans like you, we wouldn't even be writing messages like this. First and foremost, WIXY1260Online has always been, and always will be, about the music and making radio what it always should be - fun, free and non-pretentious. We are committed to not junking up our airwaves, social media and website with excessive advertising or irrelevant information.
We realize that some would like to hear us on an FM/AM band, but the reality of radio (and the costs associated with doing business) make terrestrial radio less feasible and realistic (as evidenced by the troubles unfolding for our large corporate counterparts). We strive to provide you with more listening options than just a box that picks up one signal and drowns you with advertising for that privilege. We are always happy to work with potential listeners at our live events, and through our Support Page, to get you the help you need to listen, wherever you go.
