On June 15, 2019, over 500 broadcasting industry professionals gathered at the Renaissance Cleveland Hotel in Cleveland, OH to witness the 50th Annual Emmy® Awards gala presented by NATAS Lower Great Lakes Chapter.
WIXY1260Online Owner, Gary Schmitz, along with senior members of the Station was on hand to participate in the celebration by displaying a special collection of memorabilia and archive materials curated from the original WIXY 1260 AM of Cleveland, Ohio. In addition to a professional sampling of music from WIXY's reincarnated online station (WIXY1260Online), WIXY 1260 original DJ, Billy Bass, shared in the memories and the great time had by all.
