WIXY1260Online is proud to welcome our newest DJ, "Scooter". Scott Kriska, a resident of Medina, Ohio, graduated from Highland High School in 2007. While at Bowling Green State University, he majored in Broadcast Journalism. Scott's previous radio and TV experiences include working as a DJ for WBGU 88.1 FM, BG24 News and 1590 WAKR in Akron. Since his college graduation in 2011, he has been writing freelance for two local newspapers, The Post Newspapers in Medina and the West Side Leader in Akron. Scott is also planning on starting a podcast in the near future, in which he hopes to interview local celebrities, public figures and other interesting people in the Northeast Ohio area. The 2019 Summit Racing Equipment I-X Piston Powered Auto-Rama will celebrate its 53rd year in Cleveland at the I-X Center, March 15 – 17, 2019! In 2019 Cleveland continues its reputation as an “All-Star” City, hosting the I-X Piston Power Auto-Rama where the All-Stars are the cars! In July, the Cleveland Indians will host the 90th All-Star Game at Progressive Field! WIXY1260Online is excited to be joining the 2019 Summit Racing Equipment I-X Piston Powered Auto-Rama for our 5th year and will be hosting some All Stars of its own! WIXY listeners and fans will be excited to finally know the “All Stars” who will be joining them at the WIXY1260Online booth, as they ‘move on up’ to the Main Hall of the IX Center (near the Ferris Wheel).  Joining WIXY1260Online on Saturday this year and providing autographs are Deanna Adams, author of the books, “Rock ‘n’ Roll and The Cleveland Connection” and “Cleveland’s Rock and Roll Roots”; Fran and Jules Belkin of the legendary Cleveland Belkin...
