Greetings WIXY Family,
We are hoping that everyone's new year has started off well and that you're ready for Spring to arrive. We are almost ready for the 2024 'Travel Season'... that is, when we pull the WIXY Mobile Music Machine out of storage and prepare for the year's upcoming events. Our events typically occur during the months that Santa and the Elves are not hard at work or running off to the beach with The Old TyeDye Guy, who is hard at work sipping on those Mai Tai's down south. Yes, he likes to rub it in as much as possible, but we'll let him get away with it so long as he brings home that warm southern sun to Northeast Ohio. In the meantime, we thank Victor Tango for covering Thursday's first shift live show.
The rest of the WIXY Crew will be coming out of hibernation soon as we get ready for our biggest event of every year - The IX Piston Powered Auto-Rama! But luckily you don't have to wait until April to see our own Lisa Jordan hosting our 'bestest' friends, The Outsiders, this coming Saturday, February 24th at the Kent Stage.
After our big show at the IX center, we're following it up with a visit to some new friends we're lucky to meet during our constant pursuit of audible bliss. We will be hosting an outdoor show on Saturday, April 20th, with the help of The Current Year Record & Tape Store in celebration of "International Record Store Day"
While we haven't yet posted any more upcoming events on the WIXY1260Online website's Happenings Section, our events are booking fast and we'll announce those as we work out the details.
